Gates open with Hosts playing some of your favourite tunes then Live Music from the UK’s first ABBA tribute The Abba Girls. Dancing Queens, you won’t be able to stop singing and boogieing away to the 1970s classics booming through our speaker system. Moonbeamers legendary Big Screen Karaoke is next then sit back and relax or sing your heart out to our movie Mamma Mia! The Movie.
There are LIMITED TICKETS for our moonlight event which promises to be a great night of entertainment at the beautiful Memorial. This is a fun event where you have freedom to bring your own blankets/chairs and sit picnic style enjoying the live music and film. Grab some food and drink from our onsite catering and let the good times roll in an atmosphere and environment that you’ll love. There’s room to sit, sing, chat, dance, drink, eat and be merry throughout the event.

You are going to love the talented duo that make up The Abba Girls. Such is the success of The Abba Girls, they have performed all over the world, over 3500 gigs! From large outdoor concerts, Live TV, Radio and more. Previously at London Palladium. Lyric Theatre London, Liverpool Empire, Sheffield City Hall, Burg Al Arab Hotel Dubai, MGM Grand Las Vegas and now live in Wickford Memorial Park! What? Yes, you heard us!
BIG SCREEN KARAOKE – (8:25PM) v continue the singing where The Abba Girls left off, wow the audience or maybe just yourself, with your ‘amazing’ voice and show us what you can do. Alternatively just point and have a good laugh! Choose from a collection of Karaoke classics and Movie related songs. Have a drink, have a sing and probably have the ‘P’ taken out of you by the host!
OUTDOOR CINEMA – MAMMA MIA! THE MOVIE – (8:40PM) Immerse yourself into the film or sing your heart out and take yourself away to the colourful Greek island, the plot serves as a background for a wealth of ABBA songs.
The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA.

Alcohol sales – We will be practising the Challenge25 policy, if you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25 then please be prepared to show ID to prove that you are over 18.
PARKING We encourage you to walk, there is a total of just 65 spaces across the 3 car parks. There is no additional parking on the field as in previous years due to Basildon Council’s efforts to improve sports surfaces and focus on biodiversity. If you park in parking spaces on the roads, please be considerate to our fellow neighbours.
